I am a positive person but I get really tired of aggressive optimism. If someone’s sad, let them be sad. All emotions have purpose. Sadness isn’t destructive if not prolonged. Sadness isn’t unproductive, as it offers awareness. Telling someone to “cheer up” or “be happy” is so ineffective and patronizing. The last thing a sad person needs is for someone to judge their feelings as pointless and unappealing. Welcome sadness, just don’t let it consume you.
It cracks me up when the actors on a show are also the producers because I always picture them casting themselves like
"Who’ll play the main character? Ah yes. Me."
u can’t beat the monuments men
umm excuse u
don’t mess with the Polar Express
I’m laughing omfg
This scene provokes several questions.
- Why? Why, Bones? The show routinely shows that you can hypo people through clothes. And even if you couldn’t, you can’t yank up a sleeve? Jab him in the neck? Something other than melodramatically ripping his shirt apart? You, sir, are a drama queen.
- Seriously, what the fuck? What piece of shit fabric are Kirk’s shirts made of? I could almost understand cadets’ uniforms made of shitty-ass material, but Kirk is the motherfucking CAPTAIN. You’d think he’d be given some quality.
